SOLUTION OVERVIEW
BLE is a major overhaul of the existing Bluetooth protocol aka Bluetooth classic protocol. BLE is aimed at very low power applications where battery maintenance or replacement is not required to be attended to for a long time. Inntot Technologies intends to demonstrate some of the massive powers of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol as its part of IoT (Internet of Things) series Proof of Concept (POC) projects. There are several IoT areas where BLE can be used very effectively. One such application is Employee Attendance System (EAS).
Employee Attendance System can be often annoying and inaccurate. To get rid of the use of problematic legacy systems, a nRF51822 BLE beacon based system is designed and implemented.

Employees are not required to clock in or clock out at a designated point
Even if entrance/exit to/from the office through smart card marks the attendance, if employee piggy backs a colleague of him/her, attendance marking would go inaccurate. With the proposed system, employees need not worry about this.
Employee break time is measured accurately and alerted to him/her and if required to the supervisor as well.
Total duration of time, break time and effective time in office are measured in order to give the best possible view of an employee attendance.
Attendances are recorded in the server/cloud and can be viewed by supervisor in his/her mobile anytime anywhere using any device that supports the required application
